Launched in the summer of 2024 and showcased to the wider industry at IBC2024 where this interview was recorded, the TVN Ü8 offers advanced capabilities, seamlessly managing multiple independent signal workflows to broadcast both national and international events. At the heart of the Ü8 is EVS technology including the LiveCeption® solution for fast, reliable replays and highlights, and MediaInfra for a flexible, robust media infrastructure tailored to high-performance productions.
 
More specifically, the van is equipped with XT-VIA® and XS-VIA® servers supporting ultra-high-definition (UHD) recording. The servers are controlled by LSM-VIA®, combined with the MultiReview application, allowing production teams to instantly view up to 16 camera angles and efficiently export selected footage for use in the production workflow. For enhanced storytelling, generative AI-based XtraMotion® brings the power of super motion replays to live events with just a single click on the LSM-VIA remote.
 
On the infrastructure side, the Ü8 features two compact Neuron frames, which handle real-time signal processing and up, down, and cross conversions. These frames not only enhance performance but are also power-efficient and space-saving, maximizing the operational efficiency of the van while maintaining the flexibility needed for complex live broadcasts.

2024년 여름에 출시되어 IBC2024에서 업계에 선보인 TVN Ü8은 고급 기능을 제공하며, 여러 독립 신호 워크플로우를 원활하게 관리하여 국내외 이벤트 방송을 지원합니다. 

Ü8의 핵심에는 EVS 기술이 탑재되어 있으며, 빠르고 신뢰성 높은 리플레이와 하이라이트를 위한 LiveCeption® 솔루션과 고성능 제작에 맞춘 유연하고 견고한 미디어 인프라인 MediaInfra가 포함되어 있습니다.

구체적으로, 이 중계차는 초고화질(UHD) 녹화를 지원하는 XT-VIA® 및 XS-VIA® 서버를 탑재하고 있습니다. 이 서버들은 LSM-VIA®로 제어되며, MultiReview 애플리케이션과 결합되어 제작 팀이 최대 16개의 카메라 앵글을 즉시 확인하고, 선택한 영상을 제작 워크플로우에서 효율적으로 활용할 수 있도록 내보낼 수 있습니다. 

또한, 향상된 스토리텔링을 위해 생성형 AI 기반의 XtraMotion®이 LSM-VIA 리모컨에서 한 번의 클릭만으로 라이브 이벤트에 슈퍼 모션 리플레이 기능을 제공합니다.

인프라 측면에서 Ü8은 두 개의 컴팩트한 Neuron 프레임을 갖추고 있어 실시간 신호 처리와 업/다운/크로스 변환을 처리합니다. 

이 프레임들은 성능을 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라 전력 효율적이고 공간 절약형으로, 중계차의 운영 효율성을 극대화하면서 복잡한 라이브 방송에 필요한 유연성을 유지합니다.
